Photo of reptile in eastern Ontario pond is a fake, say police

Good God, have people taken leave of their senses? Everyone knows there aren't any ponds in Ontario! Jeeze.

It's a simple idea, really.

I have a warped mind, and when I read headlines my mind just can't help but reinterpret them. Then the rest writes itself.

It's important to note that I mean no disrespect, nor any offense. Sometimes the news articles themselves are not exactly belly-laugh material.

That's life. Good news is usually not news. Bad news is where it's at. I'm just refusing to bow to the depressing sensationalism. I am using genuine headlines.

I'm a Kiwi, so there could be some posts that only make sense in New Zealand. I'm also more likely to find NZ headlines. None of this excuses my sense of humour, of course.
